This pattern is a granny square that is worked from a circle into a square. At various stages you in the pattern you can stop, and you would have a smaller version of the square. otherwise it should be about 6 inches upon completion.

I used worsted weight acrylic yarn but you can use whatever scrap yarn you have.

The pattern requires 5 colour changes, but you can be creative and design whatever image you would like.

Gauge - I used a 5mm hook for the first part of the square so that the stitches were nice and tight, however, you can switch to a 5.5mm after the face is completed - or just continue with the 5mm. I have loose tension.

I hope you enjoy the many colour variations, and embellishment opportunities for this pattern!
