This pattern was made in collaboration with Rebecca Page and her team. This construction is being taught for the 2021 Knitting Summit that is being hosted on the Rebecca Page website.

This pattern is a one size hat worked using both mosaic knitting and brioche. It is a simple pattern that is meant to teach you the techniques for these stitch patterns.

Size: One Size 20” (51cm) diameter
Yarn: Berrocco Ultra Alpaca (Worsted) 2 skeins
Main Color: Eiderdown, Contrast Color: Tiger’s Eye Mix
Needles: US 6 (4.0mm) {ribbing}, US 8 (5.0mm) {body}
Gauge: 5st’s in 4” (13 cm)
Notions: Stitch marker, Scissors, Tapestry Needle
Techniques: Brioche, Mosaic knitting in the round
Notes:
-Keep slipped stitches loose. This will help with tensioning your mosaic.
-IF YOU CAN KNIT, PURL, SLIP STITCHES AND YARN OVER, YOU CAN BRIOCHE!
-This is a bottom-up hat that includes mosaic knitting in the round and basic brioche stitches.
-Each row of the mosaic chart will be worked twice.
