I named this shawl after a small, coastal town in New Hampshire (the state where I currently live). The beautiful color reminded me of the sea and this shawl/wrap is the perfect companion to long walks on the beach in the evening or cocktails on the boardwalk. The rectangular shape stays securely on your shoulders thanks in part to the help of a large, wooden button closure. The simple design is both knit and crochet and has interesting texture elements. It’s worked flat using worsted weight yarn and there is a right and a wrong side.
