About The Songwriter Hat Knitting Pattern

This hat is a fun, cozy worsted weight project that is just as appropriate for a songwriter’s super mellow chic as it is for your best winter coat. Put a pompom on - or leave it off! Totally up to you!

I created the stitch included in this pattern - it’s called the Cicada Stitch! It’s a really fun textured stitch that gives this hat its interesting look. it’s a slightly open stitch, but worked in worsted yarn, this hat will still keep you plenty warm in most climates!
