Have you been dying to try dropped stitches but a little intimidated by them? This is the perfect pattern for a beginner to the technique! Only 3 stitches are dropped but look fabulously complicated when complete. Worked from the top down, this pattern uses basic sweater techniques incorporating basic lace techniques along the way. It’s perfect for that intermediate knitter looking to expand their horizons! With minimal shaping, this pattern is straightforward to knit but deliciously satisfying when you get to drop the stitches! It’s easy to wear and layer if knit in cotton and silk, and warm and cozy if knit in an animal fiber. It is also completely reversible! Worn front to back, on the knit or purl side, you really get the most out of this pullover.

Size of bust measurement:
XS 28” – 32” (71 cm – 81 cm)
S 32” – 36” (81 cm – 91 cm)

L 40” – 44” (102 cm – 112 cm)
XL 44” – 48” (112 cm – 122 cm)

Yarn: Aprox 575 (625, 850, 950, 1125) yards OR 525 (570, 775, 875, 1025 meters) of sport weight yarn with at least a small percentage animal fiber content (silk is a great option for this pullover).

Techniques: Knitting in the round on circular needles, basic chart reading, basic lace stitches.
