The Strawberry Jumper
The Strawberry Jumper is a seamless knit, worked from the top down. Stitches are cast-on at the neckline, divided for the shoulders, and increases are worked to shape the yoke and tops of the sleeves. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, and the body is worked in stocking stitch without any further shaping, before finishing in two-stitch rib. The sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked without any shaping, finishing in a contrast colour and two-stitch rib. Finally, the stitches at the neckline are picked up and worked in a two- stitch rib to form the roll neck.
