The slipover that dreamed of being something else and more. So it did a trick. It got a button band. It didn’t care that it couldn’t be unbuttoned. Because it looked like a vest. It fit like a vest. The dream came true

The slipover is knitted topdown. First the back is knitted, then the two shoulders are and then joined. When the front has the same measurement from a given point as the back, the front and back are joined. Then knitted in the round. Afterward the fake button band is knitted. The pattern offers 3 different ways to do it. From a more easy one to a “medium one” and end with a more difficult one. Your choice. You knit the twisted ribbing ind the sleeve gab and round the neck. Finally You add buttons to the slipover

If you choose to knit it in one colour, less yarn is used. For the two smallest sizes, it is 150 grams. For the larger ones 200 grams. You can also reduce the amount by choosing fewer colors. The pattern suggest 4 colors - that is 200 gram

Then You need buttons of your own liking. Between 7-10, 1½ cm
