The Watcher is a fun toy that is appropriate for young on up. The idea is it sits on a shelf and watches and knows where you put your keys or what happened to your other flip-flop and if you are nice to it, it will share pictures in your mind of what happened as they don’t talk.
This is a wonderful way to use up those small balls of leftover yarn and make a cute gift in the process.
If you knit it up with smaller yarn size and needle size it will make a smaller watcher and larger yarn on larger needles will make a larger one!
You will want eyes for this pattern. I use plastic eyes for a stuffed toy, however, you could use felt eyes as well.
You will need a large needle, one of those 2 inch long ones with the big eye,
scissors, and a bit of stuffing, I use either polyfill or wool roving depending.
