This hooded wrap came from the question I had which was Why couldn’t I use a sock heal to make a hood? I had to try it and this pattern has come from the second rendition of this idea. (The first one didn’t wrap long enough for my taste)

It is knit from the bottom up and really can be made as thin or thick as you want from a scarf to a very wide wrap.

I used a size 8 circular needle and knit with medium tension as is my habit. I also use the recommended needle size for my 2 yarns per the packaging.
