This shawl was designed to be made with the beautiful halo bundle by Hand Maiden and Fleece Artist. You could also use any combination of mohair and fingering weight yarn.

The stripes of stocking stitch alternate with reverse stocking stitch and is ideal for a shawl where both sides will be on show. A bias stripe is knitted by increasing and decreasing at the edges accordingly.

A double i-cord edging is used to ensure the edge is not tight. Separate instructions are given for this and are to be followed for every row once started.

You will need to know, or learn the following techniques:
• Double i-cord edging
• Purl in front and back & Knit in front and back
• Slip, slip, knit & Knit two together
• Purl two together & Purl two together through back of loop

Yarn:
Hand Maiden & Fleece artist Halo Bundle
400m of Angel Mohair and 400m Merino Slim, one bundle - you will have some left over, so if you’re using substitute yarn, a 400 yard skein will also be enough.
