Theo's quilt
Plant/botanical themed baby blanket worked in squares grafted together, an applied lace border, and backed with flannel.
This is my first attempt at putting everything I did for a project on ravelry, so I really apologize if anything is unclear or there are errors!
Squares were about 8x8”, but this was my first try for a lot of these stitch types, so some of the more detailed cable-knit squares were a bit smaller, but steam-blocking helped a lot to even things out. Even so, I would make especially adapt the top right square to be a bit larger if I were making this blanket again.
I used Feels like butta yarn in dusty blue, ice, and teal. The whole blanket used around 2 skeins of each.
A lot of the squares were inspired by or adapted from patterns or stitch patterns found online, so I’m including those links as well.
For the edging, I used this blog post to learn how to do it, and this pattern.
To join squares, I used this stitch pattern.
