Three Season Tee, Cardigan, and Pullover are all 30% off through April 13th — no code needed, discount applies automatically at checkout.

Three Season Tee has been the most requested pattern we’ve ever published. We get it. You loved the cardigan but you wanted short sleeves. A tee for the warm months, one that’s light and flirty, a knit you could actually wear in July. Here it is.

Seamless, top-down, with the same cables, lace, and rich textured stitch work you fell in love with, now in a v-neck tee designed for late spring through early fall. Style it up or down, either way you’ll wear it May through November.

Design Details

Not to be smug about it, but we love a clean shoulder join. So the shaping flows naturally with the stitches through the shoulders, the front, and the back neckline, for a fit that’s easy and comfortable all day.

Customize the length and ease to make it your own, choose less for a slimmer fit or more so it’s loose and breezy. Bonus points for the built-in air conditioning: lace sides that let you breathe, with stunning cables and texture running front and back so you can show off your knitting prowess from every angle.

Pattern Highlights

  • Seamless top-down construction
  • V-neckline shaped at the front and back
  • Cables, lace, and textured stitch work on both front and back
  • Scaled motif for visual balance across all sizes
  • Customizable length and ease

Construction Overview

Three Season Tee is worked seamlessly from the top down. The front panels begin with a provisional cast-on and are worked flat, then joined at the v-neck and continued flat to the underarm.

Back shoulders are picked up from the provisional cast-on and worked flat with back-of-neck shaping, then joined and worked as one piece down to the armholes.

At the underarm, the body is joined and worked in the round. The neckline and armholes are both picked up and finished with ribbing in the round.

Yarn Notes

Both samples are knit in yarn by 29 Bridges Studio — same pattern, two very different bases, both gorgeous.

Autumn’s sample is knit in Sock Single in Overt, a striking chartreuse that makes every cable pop. It’s a single ply 100% superwash merino with beautiful stitch definition and a lovely drape that’s light as air.

Fiber: 100% superwash merino, single ply
Yardage: approx. 400 yds (366 m) per 100g skein

Jenie’s sample is knit in Sock MCN in Bourbon, a warm, rich tonal that shows off the texture beautifully. The MCN base is slightly rounder and has a little more body, with the cashmere adding a gorgeous softness.

Fiber: 80% superwash merino / 10% cashmere / 10% nylon, 2-ply
Yardage: approx. 435 yds (398 m) per 100g skein

Any fingering weight with good stitch definition will work here, wool or a wool blend is recommended. Tonal or solid colorways show the texture best. Check out our testers’ projects for lots of beautiful yarn inspiration across a range of fibers, bases and colorways.
