Thru The Back Loops Dishcloth
The actual size for this dishcloth will depend on the size of the needles you use and how tight or loose you knit. The sample is a good size 9 to 10 inches.
Read the directions carefully. All rows will end with the same number of stitches.
I found the stitch pattern in a book by Rita Weiss called “Knit Stitch Guide” The stitch pattern is called Optical Illusion. I named my design Thru the Back loops because most of the stitches whether knitted or purled were created by going through the back of the loops.
The completed cloth will be a good size if you repeat rows 1 - 16 three (3) times and then rows 1-8 one more time followed by 4 knit rows before binding off.
Any questions about this dish cloth, please PM me .
Edit made to pattern 6/11/15. Please update any copy you may have made so it reads smoother. Thanks.
