Here is my latest free design which I hope you will enjoy.

Thunderstruck Sock has been designed as a quick knit - using double knit or sport weight yarn.

The easy pattern design on the leg uses only knit and purl stitch, and has an 8 stitch pattern repeat.

The stitch pattern gives a lovely textured design to the leg fabric of the sock - a zig-zag or double parallelogram effect.

The sock looks good knitted in either a plain or subtly variegated yarn.

I have used 100g of King Cole Galaxy DK which comes in a range of gorgeous colours with sequins spun into the thread.

You can use your favourite double knit or sport weight yarn to knit these socks - I have suggested a gauge for both the yarn type and needle size.

Please note, however, the gauge is a suggestion only. Some knitters knit tightly and some knit loosely - so you may need to go up or down a needle size according to the type of yarn you use, and your individual knitting style :)

Happy knitting :)
