Tidal Fall is a simple summer shirt, suited for beginners or knitters which don’t want to think that much during this hot summer 2018. At least in Germany, we have had temperatures more than 30 degrees Celsius for weeks now, which makes a linen yarn / linen blend sound like a really good idea …

Nearly all of the shaping is done by itself, by combining Stockinette with Garter triangles on shoulders, neck and hem edges.

Only a few (optional) short rows invloved at the shoulder and a few decreases at the underarm … but you will enjoy a mindless knit for most of the time, following markers for the triangle borders and even pure Stockinette in rounds from underarm to hip.

Work in one color only or combine colors (even leftovers) in simple stripes or color blocks, whatever you like best … The stripe sequence worked in my sample (provided in the instructions) requires a little bit of attention, but it might be worth it.

900-1300 meters of Lace or (Light Fingering) yarn required, worked at a gauge of 24, 26 or 28 sts (stitch numbers are provided for all three of them).

Sizes available:
S/ M/ L/ XL/ XXL with
88/ 96/ 105/ 114/ 122cm
(but can be easily adapted to different sizes)
