I designed this blanket for all the ocean lovers out there, with the thought of carefree summers days spent at the beach, soaking up the sunshine, toes in the sand, swimming in the surf, listening to the waves crash along the shore, and combing the beach for treasures left behind by the tides. Calming blues evoke a relaxed vibe, and the long wave stitch worked in the back loop only adds beautiful texture that mimics waves lapping over each other as they roll into shore. The border showcases the treasures of the ocean, pearls (berry stitches) and shells, and adds the perfect finishing touch for this ocean themed blanket.
