Pattern instructions are for either Fair Isle stripes or entirely in stockinette/stocking stitch.
Body length may be adjusted and collar length may be adjusted.
The gauge for stocking stitch is 28 stitches and 44 rows over 10cm with TD set at 6.1.
The gauge for Fair Isle is 30 stitches and 32 rows over 10 cm with TD set at 8.
The pattern is for use on a standard gauge knitting machine.
The Fair Isle version uses as many colours as the knitter wants and is perfect for using scrap yarn.
If a very long scrunchy turtle neck collar is desired, it will take approximately 100gms of yarn.
The ribbed body band edging is handknitted.
