This coaster pattern uses basic crochet techniques, including single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, and slip stitch. It features an 8-section repeat and is easy to follow, with the repeat clearly shown in the PDF.

The pattern is designed for fingering weight yarn; however, it can be worked at any gauge using any hook size. (For example, hold two strands of fingering weight yarn together and use a 4.5 mm hook to create a larger size.)

Finished sizes may vary depending on gauge. Here are some example measurements after blocking:
-1 strand of lace weight yarn with a 2.5 mm hook: 12.5cm diameter
-1 strand of fingering weight yarn with a 3.0 mm hook: 15.5cm diameter
-2 strands of fingering weight yarn with a 4.5 mm hook: 21cm diameter
