This simple pattern includes PDF file with detailed instructions and pictures on how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this Tiny Bat.

• 7 video instructions Basic crocheting skills will be needed to make this pattern.

Final size of the bat with the indicated materials and tools will be ~2.9 inches (7.5 cm) tall.

Materials and tools:

• Any mohair yarn or any fluffy yarn approx. 10 - 20gr of main color. I use YarnArt ANGORA DE LUXE 100gr/520mt 70% mohair/30% acrylic.
• Some yarn contrast color for the chest and heels (optionally).

Recommendations for choosing yarn:

• Kid Mohair Yarn, 100gr / 900-1000mt crochet grabbing 2 or 3 yarns simultaneously;
• Mohair yarn 100гр/500-550м crochet grabbing 1 or 2 yarns simultaneously;
• 1 Kid mohair yarn 100gr / 900-1000mt and 1 mohair yarn 100 gr / 500-550 mt simultaneously.

The final toy size will depend on the yarn you use.

• Some yarn contrast color for the eyelids – acrylic or woolen yarn.

• Sewing finishing thread or thread for jeans in white, black and contrast color for embroidery of the nose, the mouth, the fangs and the wings.

• A cut of felt fabric ~1.0mm thick for wings about 10x15 cm.

• A strong thread for the sculpting and sewing (for example, a reinforced thread). -  Toy stuffing (hollow fiber or other synthetic fiber). -  Toy eyes of a suitable size approx d. ~0,5cm (I use the eyes with backs).

• D. ~0.9- 1.0mm florist wire ~10-15 cm length for front legs.

• Medical tape (roll) ~1cm wide.

• Size 1,25mm crochet hook for the indicated materials. I recommend you to use a smaller hook, than indicated on the yarn label; the work should be crocheted tight, so there will be no wide gaps between the stitches.

• Small sharp scissors with a plain nose to cut (you can use manicure scissors). -  A long needle for sewing and sculpting, a tapestry needle. - Velcro tape, a rough metal brush or a slicker brush – to brush the toy.

• A metal comb and a brush for eyelashes or a toothbrush for brushing.

• Oil paints - titanium white, palette, flat brush (bristle) or synthetic brush, diluent for the oil paints – not oily! (optionally). -  Permanent markers of the necessary colors for tinting, you can use soft pastels or oil paints.

• A black permanent marker.

• A vanishing fabric marker (optionally).

• Chalk or pencil for fabric for the wings pattern.

• Scissors, wire cutters, pliers, conic awl.

• Wooden sticks for stuffing, toothpicks.
