Final size of the pumpkins with the indicated materials and tools:
Tiny orange pumpkin ~ 2.5 cm (1 inches) high and d. ~ 3.5 cm (1,4 inches)
Large white pumpkin ~ 3.3 cm (1,3 inches) high and d. ~ 4.3 cm (1,7 inches)
Large orange pumpkin ~ 4 cm (1,6 inches) high and d. ~ 5 cm (1,9 inches)

  1. Any yarn for pumpkin itself of main color, some yarn contrast color for the hat and the bottom. The thinner yarn you use, the smaller pumpkin you will have as a result. I use DROPS ALPAKA MIX - 3 ply 100% Alpaca; 50gr/167mt for the smal pumpkin and NAKO Bambino Marvel - 4 ply 25% Wool, 75% Acrylic; 50gr/130mt for a larger pumpkins. 2.  A strong yarn or thread for the sculpting of appropriate color, I use COCO VITA cotton - 4 ply 100% mercerized cotton; 50gr/240mt. 3. Toy stuffing (hollow fiber or other synthetic fiber).
  2. I use 1,25/1,5mm crochet hook for the smal pumpkin and 1,5/1,75mm hook for a larger pumpkins. I recommend using a hook one size smaller than what is specified on the yarn to create tighter stitches. Tighter stitches will give your toy a polished look preventing the stuffing from showing through. 5.  A long needle for sculpting. 6. Soft pastel to tint the toy.
  3. Synthetic thin brush.
  4. Palette.
  5. A vanishing fabric marker (optionally).
