My little Toads have such soulful eyes, it occurred to me that they might make the cutest little lovesick Pierrot clowns, pining for your love. So I designed a little Clown Hat and Collar for them just in time for Valentine’s Day!

I would also like to thank you all for the continuing support of my little Toad pattern! It has just meant the world to me that so many of you have enjoyed making my pattern and have sent me such lovely comments. So this is another free pattern meant as a gift and a big THANK YOU! And to wish you all a happy, happy Valentine’s Day too!

Note: The Toad I made to model the Clown Hat and Collar is made from my Toad pattern, but I’ve adjusted a couple of things from the original pattern to make the Toad a bit smaller. I use 2 mm needles (instead of 2.5 mm), and use 16 mm safety eyes (instead of 14 mm). And I don’t do the eye folds when putting the Toad together.
