Cute toe-up, shortie socks with a hint of lace.

I like my trainer socks super short and so I designed this pair of cute socks to slip on under my summer shoes.

The central lace panel reminded me of cat paw prints and when my cat Ebony decided to gate crash my photo shoot the name of my new design just had to be Toe Beans.

The pattern calls for 100g sockweight yarn as that is the most commonly available quantity, but these socks are ideal for stashbusting and using up partial skeins.

To knit these socks as shown (size M, UK size 6 foot) each sock required a shade under 20g
