The stitch pattern in this cowl looks like the arches in a cathedral. My high school was Cathedral High School in San Francisco, and our mascot was a Torrian. There is a beautiful cathedral next to the school. It is a modern structure so it does not have the arches of more traditional cathedrals. My class was one of the last all-girls classes before the school merged with an all-boys school and became a co-ed school. With the merger, the Torrian mascot is no more so this design is dedicated to all the Torrians out there. Raise your voices, raise them high, Torrians!
