Kids always need something to carry their favourite toys around. This toy pet carrier is made with 2 compartments - one compartment for the child’s favourite stuffed toy (e.g. dog, cat etc) and the other compartment to hold toy accessories (e.g. dog food, brush, leash, food dish etc.) There’s also a small window in the large compartment so that their toy can see out.

The pattern calls for double (2) strands of worsted weight #4 yarn and an I (5.5 MM) hook. I used approximately 6 1/2 oz of Caron Simply Soft yarn in Dark Country Blue. Two 1/2 inch buttons are also needed to close the two compartments. Some sewing is involved (for the divider and the 2 compartment lids onto the carrier).

Dimensions of the carrier:
Approximately 5 inches high, 9 inches long and approximately 4 ½ inches wide. Large Compartment is about 6 inches long and the smaller compartment is about 3 inches long.

Different brands and sizes of yarn will change the size of the carrier.
