Naples is a city of opposites. The streets are dirty, chaotic and the buildings really show their age and lack of maintenance. On the other hand, there are splendid churches, castles and old palazzos here and there. The places of interest are mostly hidden in the middle of the small alleys. If you don’t know which exact portico to take, you will probably miss all of them.
Palazzo Trabucco is one of those hidden beauties. As often in Naples, the main façade seen from the street is not the most interesting part. You have to pass the portico to see the courtyard, the staircase and windows.
These fingering weight socks are knit cuff down with an Eye Of the Partridge heel flap. The colorwork pattern is inspired by the main entrance of the palazzo. The contrasting color is used for cuff, heel and toe. The length of the leg pattern is customizable.
