Trailing Tails (Burro's Tail Succulent)

I was inspired to make my Trailing Tails pattern as one of several crocheted succulents to go with an adorable tree-bark planter set that was gifted to myself and my husband for our wedding. I had originally thought to put real succulents in them, but the feature-location I picked to hang them hardly gets a single iota of natural sunlight. I was also worried the planters might be susceptible to water damage, so yarn-plants seemed like just the right solution.
This simple chain and slip-stitch pattern is perfect for beginners. You can make as few or as many burro’s tail ‘sprigs’ to fill whatever container you want to put them in!
Happy stitching!
