Treble rib tea cosy
by Lynne Barkas
Worked in treble rib which gives plenty of stretch to fit most pots whilst having a thick, chunky feel. The top is worked in double crochet and shaped, with blossoms and sprigs of leaves for decoration.
A decorative upturned brim is worked around the bottom in contrasting yarn, finished with a final round of reverse double crochet.
This size fits the average 4-cup pot which is approximately 20cm high, 48cm circumference.
A 100g ball of DK in the main colour is more than enough for at least one cosy, and the remainder can be worked in oddments of DK.
