I personally used 1 skein of Caron Simply Soft, though any #4 yarn will work perfectly. This pattern also requires a yarn needle, some scissors and a 5mm hook. You can also choose to add a pompom to it if you wish, there are instructions on how to attach the pompom in the pattern.
