Treeds o’ time hat

“Treeds o’ Time” translates to “Threads of Time”. I think about the many talented Shetland knitters of the past most of whom have never had their work recognised. Shetland “makkin” provides us with a link to our forebears as we all still knit in the same way. All the threads that connect us create a rich tapestry and a heritage to be proud of.

This pattern includes traditional Shetland motifs. I would recommend using 100% Shetland wool for best results.

The pattern is one size adult but the actual size can be changed using larger or smaller needle sizes.
Please pay particular attention to the required tension as my knitting tends to be close.
