Treffry Hat
The Treffry hat is inspired by one of the sites managed by the Cornish Heritage Trust; Treffry Viaduct in the Luxulyan valley, with its imposing pillars and arches.
The motif is worked using slipped and twisted stitches and a lateral braid.
The pattern is written for adult small, medium and large sizes, but includes a Size Modification section with specific suggestions of where to add stitches or rounds for a custom size, step by step calculations you will need and chart adjustments where applicable.
Pattern provided in charted and written form.
