This is one of those projects that looks super impressive but is honestly just really fun to make. It’s worked in overlay mosaic crochet, which means you get all that bold, geometric detail using just one color at a time. No yarn juggling, no endless cutting, just a clever little stitch pattern that keeps things interesting.

The triangle motif gives it a clean, modern feel that fits beautifully into a cozy living room or minimal nursery. It’s the kind of blanket you can throw over the back of a couch and instantly make the space feel styled and handmade without being fussy.

The pattern includes full written instructions and a clear crochet diagram, so you can follow along whichever way suits you best.

I made mine with Drops Lima, using 20 skeins and a 5.5 mm hook. The finished size is around 97 x 122 cm, which makes it great for snuggling under or folding at the foot of a bed.

Available in English (US and UK terms) and Dutch.
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced. If you’re new to mosaic, it’s a great pattern to learn on.
