The falling leaves stitch is a bit of a blend between a front post stitch and a puff stitch. With a few extra yarn overs, you’ll achieve that rich texture!

This pattern is worked carrying the colors up the sides so you have very few ends to weave in. It’s also worked using a budget-friendly acrylic yarn. If you get it on sale, you can create this beautiful blanket for about $15!
