The Tricolore Zipper Jacket is a lovely jacket for spring, for autumn, as a cozy indoor jacket in winter, and here in the Nordic countries for a cool summer day. It is quick to knit due to its large gauge. It has a great fit that simply sits well. The shape is a compound raglan. It is worked top-down and back and forth, and intarsia is used until the sleeves are separated from the body.

The pattern includes options for adjustments, allowing you to tailor the fit to your preference. Five sizes are provided, with a finished chest measurement of 90–130 cm. It is intended to fit relatively close to the body, while still allowing room for a blouse or top underneath.

Yarn is held double - and You use Rauma Vams (83 m/ 50 grams, 100% Norwegian wool) 10, (10, 11, 12) 13 skeins MC, 2, (2, 2, 3), 3 skeins CC1, 2, (2, 2, 3), 3 skeins CC2 – if you shorten the sleeve, or knit the body wider and longer, it will change the yarn amount needed

It is not difficult to knit as such, but you should be familiar with the basic techniques and pay attention during the shaping of the upper part of the jacket and when sewing in the zipper. Otherwise, it is “piece of cake” the rest of the way.
