Triple Tulip Mittens
I love tulips! It’s probably my favourite flower. I love how many colours and varieties it comes in, and you can have as much fun with your colour choices for these mittens.The Triple Tulip mittens are a colourful burst of joy to knit, and equally fun to wear! The stranded colourwork makes them lovely and warm, and the thumb gusset makes them fit extra nicely and gives a cute detail as well.
One size. Finished and blocked mittens measure:
Length: approx. 25 cm/9.8”.
Circumference: approx. 18 cm/7.1”.
Size can be adjusted by using smaller or larger sized needles.

MC: Drops Fabel 121 (Wheat)
CC1: Arwetta 148 (Deep Olive)
CC2: Arwetta 809 (Avocado)
CC3: Arwetta 807 (Boysenberry)
Approximate weight needed (if sticking to gauge):
MC: 30 g
CC1: 10 g
CC2: 10 g
CC3: 10 g
(One ball of yarn: 100gr = 425 meters/465 yards or 50 g = 210 meters/230 yards). Or any other yarn of the same weight, preferably a woolmix for socks, for better durability.
Needles: Magic loop or double pointed needles size 2.5 mm/US 1.5 or whichever size needle is suitable for achieving gauge or change size.

Tapestry needle
A bit of extra yarn in a contrasting colour
Two stitch markers
Elastic thread
Scissors
Gauge for colourwork: Approx. 34 st/38 rows = 10 cm/4”.
Pattern is available in English and Swedish.
Techniques used: Stranded knitting, picot edging, duplicate stitches (optional), kitchener stitching.
