The Triskele is an ancient symbol that has been used by many cultures and religions. It is a common motif in modern paganism. Three is sacred to many people and just happens to be my favourite number.
The Triskele Socks are knit top down using stranded colourwork. The heel is a short row heel that has been modified to increase coverage and improve the fit.
