This crochet pattern is a lovely PDF that comes with many photos and video links. He is the fifth in a series of dragons inspired by the planets in our solar system and the gods they were named after. Mars was named after the god of war. I made him strong and powerful with his own dragon armor. Since it is the red planet I thought the color was appropriate. His name was derived from the battle fought over Helen of Troy. I created him in a continuous manner so there is less sewing involved. I would rate him as an intermediate to advanced project.
