This top is a sheer, romantic, easy-to-wear top that makes me dream about the summer to come! It is guaranteed to add a touch of romance to your wardrobe:) An easy and fast knit with a great result!

Construction This top features beautiful lace-patterns for the hem and the center front and V-neck. It is completely seamless.
To take advantage of the beautiful Old Shale pattern of the lower hem the top/camisole is worked bottom up and in the round to underarms. From underarms the back and the left and right fronts are worked flat and in separate pieces. Shoulders are worked together using the 3 needle bind off method (unless you are very clever and use the Kitchener method or grafting….).Stitches are picked up around the neck and the armholes for working a narrow edge.

Sizes
There are 10 sizes to choose from. Finished bust circumference, after washing and blocking: 78.5/83/87/92/96/101/105/110/114/119cm = 31/32.5/34/36/38/40/41.5/43.5/45/47”. Finished length goes from 55cm/21.75 for the smallest size, to 61cm/24” for the largest size (Length might be adjusted)..

Materials Yarn: I used a fingering weight, pure linen to work this top; “Kalinka” from Karin Oberg. This yarn comes in skeins of 100gr/3.53oz and 320m/350yards. You will need 2/2/2/2/2/3/3/3/3/3 skeins of this specific yarn. Linen is gorgeous to wear and it ages beautifully. You might substitute it for another yarn quality that knits up to gauge. I recommend that you use a yarn of natural fibers with a great drape and stitch definition.
Needles: circular needle, 80cm/32” long, 3mm/US2.5, for the lower body. You can use the same circular needle (or straight needles) for the upper back and fronts. A small circular needle 40cm/16” for the edges of the neck and armhole openings.
Notions: separate holders, stitch-markers, blunt tapestry needle, blocking tools.’

Gauge 24sts and 32 rows = 10x10cm/4x4”. Please note that this is of the washed and blocked swatch! If you work with cotton/linen/bamboo it is worth thinking about that these materials grows after washing.
