The Truss Shawl is an asymmetrical triangle shawl, knitted from the right corner to the opposite side. The lace chevron together with the super squishy garter sections makes this shawl a very interesting piece to go with any outfit.

This project is highly adaptable for other yarn weights and the pattern includes general directions if you prefer to use another yarn weight then DK. Please bear in mind that using different yarn weights will affect the final size of your piece and also your yardage requirements.

750 m (820 yds) of DK weight yarn were used for the sample in the pictures (shown in Lanabel artesanal 12/4 colorway 53)

5.00 mm (US 8) circular needle with cable long enough to accommodate all stitches comfortably, or size needed to obtain gauge

tapestry needle
stitch markers (optional)
blocking tools of your preference

14 st x 28 rows in 10 cm x 10 cm (4”x4”) in stockinette stitch. Though gauge is not crucial for this project, changes in it will affect your yardage requirements.

Approximately 220 cm (86 in) wingspan and 50 cm (20 in) depth
