Super simple, extra warm, ribbed knit hat with increases and decreases in the crown.
Worked in the round as a tube.
At the end the hat is folded with crown edges matching to form a super warm double thickness hat with a quadruple thickness folded brim.

The tubular hat was inspired by my husband who requested a tight fitting extra warm hat for winter weather. He wanted a quadruple thickness fabric to stave off the biting wind from his ears.
