These socks were inspired by my Dutch heritage, and the colorful rows of tulip fields found in the early
spring. Whether you are lucky enough to see the tulips in The Netherlands, a local botanical garden, or
though pictures on your screen, these socks are sure to excite you about the new growth in spring time.
These cuff down socks features 3 sizes, 4 rows of colorful Fair Isle tulips, heel flap and gusset, and endless yearning for spring blossoms.

Advanced knitting skills are needed for this pattern.

Adult Sizes:
Small (56 Stitches, 8”)
Medium (64 Stitches, 9”)
Large (72 stitches, 10”)

Yarn: 6 colors of fingering weight sock yarn.
Main Color- 70 grams, dark green
Contrasting color 1- 20 grams, blue
Contrasting color 2,- 10 grams- purple
Contrasting color 3,- 10 grams- pink
Contrasting color 4,- 10 grams- light green
Contrasting color 5,- 10 grams- yellow

Needles:
US Size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle with a 24” cable (or longer) for magic loop.
US Size 2 (2.75 mm)- 9“ circular needle (not necessary but highly recommended)
Or correct size to match gauge and a needle one size larger.
