Construction of this color block afghan is modular. The first square is in the center.

Measurements: 48” x 53” unblocked for 6 squares x 7 squares

Gauge: 6 sts & 14 rows = 2” (5cm) in garter stitch

Materials:
6 skeins Lion Brand Homespun (#5 Bulky) in 6 colors (designated Colors A,B,C,D,E,F - 1 skein of each color)
Knitting loom (3/4” gauge, 20 pegs + 1) A single rake is recommended, but a large diameter circular loom can be used. The Martha Stewart Knit and Weave Loom was used during the creation of this pattern (36-hole segment and 2 u-shaped pieces, with 20 large pink pegs + 1 green peg)
Stitch Marker – If not using a different color peg for the 21st peg, place a stitch marker on this peg. This peg will only be used when picking up stitches to join segments.
Notions: scissors, optional -crochet hook to weave in ends.
