The Tuvull hat is decorated with a pattern of cotton grass flowers. “Tuvull” is the Swedish word for “cotton grass”.
In marshlands around Sweden, you can see the cotton grass swaying in the windwith its white woolly flowers at the top.

Yarn: DK 100-120m / 50g.

Suggested yarn: Pentti from Vuonue, CaMaRose Lamauld 1/2, Origin from Sesia, Peruvian from Filcolana, Alpakka Ull from Sandnes, or other yarn of the same weight.

Needles: 40 cm circular needles to knit the larger sizes in the round. 80 cm (or longer) circular needles to knit the smaller sizes and the decreases on the top of the hat with magic loop or dpn:s.

3.5 mm needles for the rib.
4 mm needles (or the needles you need to get the right gauge).

Gauge: 22 stitches = 10 cm in pattern: k1 tbl, p3.

Sizes: 1-2 years, 3-7 years, 8 years-Small adult, M/L adult.
Finished hat circumference 36,40,44,48 cm.
The hat is supposed to be worn with 5-10 cm of negative ease.

Mössan Tuvull pryds av ett mönster av just tuvull.
På myrar runt om i Sverige kan man se halvgräset tuvull vaja i vinden med sina vita ulliga blommor i toppen.

Stickor & masktäthet
Stickor: 4 mm eller stickor du behöver för att få rätt masktäthet. Stickor 3,5 mm till mudden

För att sticka de större storlekarna passar en 40 cm lång rundsticka bra. För att sticka de mindre storlekarna och toppen på mössan med magic loop behövs en rundsticka som är 80 cm eller längre, eller strumpstickor beroende på vad du förerar.
Masktäthet: 22 m i mönster: 1 rm i bm, 3am = 10 cm.

Storlek: 1-2 år, 3-7år, 8-liten vuxen, M/L.
Omkrets på färdig mössa: 36, 40, 44, 48 cm.
Mössan bör ha en omkrets som är 5-10 cm mindre än huvudets omkrets.
