Twiggy Vest
The Twiggy Vest is an easy layering piece to wear over a shirt, top, or dress, or as a beach cover-up in summer. Its adjustable side ties create a flexible fit, and if side ties are not your preferred style, the pattern also includes an easy modification for seamed sides. The vest is worked lengthwise in vertical granny stitch stripes and finished with a ribbed hem and subtle edgings for a cohesive look.
Alongside the pattern, you’ll receive a color planning PDF with a visual guide to the striping sequence and blank sheets for each size to test your own color combinations.
CONSTRUCTION
The vest is made from separate front and back pieces, worked side to side and joined at the shoulders. The pieces are identical except for the neckline. After assembly, edging with ties is added along the sides (ties are skipped if the sides are seamed), followed by hems and the neckline finish.
