Twin Brim Hat is a modern, reversible beanie with a bold visual impact. The wide brim is worked in two-colour brioche, to create a graphic contrast that flips when the hat is worn inside out- offering two distinct looks in one design.
The body of the hat is knitted in simple ribbing, keeping the knitting relaxing and the result fully reversible. The entire hat is knitted in lace yarn weight held double and has a clean beanie shape that can easily be adjusted for a more slouchy fit.
Switch it, depending on your mood, outfit, or simply because you can.

Sizes:
1 (2,3) to fit 20.75 (21.5, 22.5)“ {52 (55, 57)cm}.

Gauge:
21.5 sts and 26 rows are= 4” {10cm} with US4 {3.5mm} knitted in the round in 1x1 ribbing, yarn held double.

Materials:
Yarn:251-276 yds {230-252m} of main colour and 62-68 yds {57-62m} of contrast colour.
Yarn used for sample: Lotus Yarns “Brushed Cashmerino” (315yds/50g) (290m/50g).
Fiber content: 18% Cashmere, 82% Merino. The samples are shown in the colors #10 & #14;
#07 & #16.
Or other lace weight yarn or light fingering weight if not held double.

Needles: US1.5 {2.5mm} & US4 {3.5mm} circular needles (or other size needed to obtain gauge) with 32” (80cm) length to work in Magic loop, or DPN’s.

Techniques: Knitting and purling in the round, brioche knitting in the round, two-colour German twisted cast on (link to video tutorial in pattern), decreases.

Eine Anleitung- zwei Knäuel- 4 Looks

Der Twin Brim Hat ist eine wendbare Beanie-Mütze mit breitem, umgeschlagenem Rand im zweifarbigen Patent-Muster. Durch den spannenden Farbwechsel hast du somit zwei Looks in einem Design. Gestrickt wird mit doppelt gehaltenem Lace-Garn im 1x1 Rippenmuster, was das Stricken angenehm enstpannt macht und die Mütze komplett doppelseitig verwendbar hält.
Die klassisch beanie-artige Form kann auch ganz einfach für einen lässigeren Sitz angepasst werden. Trag sie so, wie es gerade passt – je nach Outfit, Stimmung oder einfach nur aus Lust am Wechseln.

Größen:
1 (2,3) für Kopfumfang 52 (55, 57)cm.

Maschenprobe:
21.5 M & 26 Rd= 10cm gemessen nach dem Spannen, in der Runde im 1x1 Bündchenmuster gestrickt mit 3.5mm, doppelfädig gestrickt.

Material:
Garn: 230-252m Hauptfarbe und 57-62m Kontrastfarbe.
Garn Musterstück: Lotus Yarns “Brushed Cashmerino” (290m/50g).
Zusammensetzung: 18% Cashmere, 82% Merino.
Farben Musterstück: #10 & #14; #07 & #16. Oder ein anderes Garn mit gleicher Lauflänge.

Nadeln: 2.5mm & 3.5mm Rundstricknadel mit 80cm Seillänge um in Magic Loop zu stricken oder Nadelspiel.

Techniken: Rechts und links in der Runde stricken, Patentstricken (Brioche Stricken) in der Runde, zwei-farbiger verdrehter Anschlag (link zur Videoanleitung in Anleitung), Abnahmen.
