It is worked using 2 colours of worsted weight yarn at the same time.
Instructions are for no set size but instead explain how to measure for your size. There is also no set hook size - all up to the crocheter :)

I came up with this idea when trying to design a beanie for beginners (I myself am new to clothing items) but didn’t have thick enough yarn, enough of each colour, or any idea about standard beanie sizes. I decided to use different colours at the same time to make up for not having chunky yarn and make a pattern based off measurement rather than gauge.

This is so simple and perfect for beginners :)
