Ullobáidi Geassi – Summer Wool Sweater

Ullobáidi means “Wool Sweater” in Sámi and was the first Sámi-inspired design I created. The star motif is inspired by patterns found in traditional Sámi shoe bands in several areas.
Ullobáidi Geassi is worked from the bottom up with a circular yoke shaped with decreases. The sweater is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork.

Gauge: 24 stitches = 10 cm
Needles: 3 mm and 3.5 mm
