These are Ultra basic fingerless gloves made for working hands in a cold office. The primary goal was to not have any bulk past the palm and thumb to make typing and writing easier, and something that was mid-arm in length.

This is a super basic tube style bottom up, in the round glove with a minimal thumb gusset. Both gloves are also identical, so there is no left/right fuss here and no pesky decreases or other complications. Fast and easy.

The thumbhole is accomplished by binding off 5st at the bottom of the thumb gusset, then working flat back and forth for 11 rows creating the thumb opening, then rejoining to close the top of the thumb opening and returning to knitting in the round.

Because these are so thin and no thumb complication, they can also likely be worn under another pair of gloves.
