These mittens start with a two-colour cast on, Latvian braid, and a cuff to hug the wrist. I started the body of the mitten with two rows of green to mimic grass. I embroidered leaves around a few of the flowers but it could be made with green as the contrast for the flower colour instead or no green at all. The thumb is an afterthought construction.
