Undulated is a minimalist wardrobe staple with a simple all-over texture and delicate faux raglan seams. The sweater is worked top-down and in the round, making it easy to customise as you work to achieve your ideal fit. The pattern instructions are for a cropped body length, but additional length can easily be added to suit your preference.
Undulated is worked top-down, mostly in the round after working some neckband shaping flat. The construction consists of a raglan yoke construction, followed by separating the yoke into body and sleeves. Body and sleeves are worked in the round with the option of working on the RS (purling and slipping sts) or the WS (knitting and slipping sts) according to personal preference.

SAMPLE
The wearer is 5’10” with a 37” chest circumference. The sample is size L, giving 6” positive ease and features a folded neckband, an additional 1” of body length before progressing to the waistband and an additional 1” of sleeve length before progressing to each cuff.

Waistband Circumference: 30.75 (34.75, 37.75, 40.75, 45.25) (48.5, 53, 56.75, 59.75)” / 78 (88.5, 96, 103.5, 115) (123, 134.5, 144, 152)cm.

GAUGE
Using 7mm / US size 10.5 needles, or needle size required to meet gauge, 20 stitches over 32 rounds in Reverse Linen Stitch, blocked, creates a 4x4” / 10x10cm square.

YARN
Undulated has been worked using Bergere de France’s Cocooning Chunky yarn (47% Polyester / 27% Wool / 26% Acrylic blend). On 7mm / US size 10.5 needles, 15 sts over 19 rnds of stockinette typically yields 4x4”/10x10cm. This yarn is a lighter weight chunky and with this in mind I would recommend substituting EITHER a lighter-weight chunky yarn OR a heavy worsted / Aran weight yarn held together with a strand of mohair.
