This is a free pattern for a Union Jack brooch - a British flag brooch you can pin to a jacket, bag or coat.

The brooch is worked in two panels (front and back). The front panel features the flag and is worked in tapestry crochet from the bottom up; the back panel is worked in a plain colour of your choice.

Once both panels are made, a brooch pin and a small piece of plastic canvas are sewn on, and the two panels are crocheted together all the way around to finish - there is a free video-tutorial to show how to assemble it.

SIZE: Using the yarn and hook specified, the finished brooch measures approximately 9 cm x 8 cm.
